A historical figure in the Arabic literature once said:" Do not be ashamed of giving a little, for depriving is even less". The world is filled with children who are desperate for food, clothing and shelter. Sometimes people feel like they can not affect the world no matter how much they give. However, giving a little time or money can have a big effect on one person's life. I have a girl of my own and I know that I would do everything I could to make sure she had what she needed to live healthy. I also know that there are parents in places where this is a very hard thing to provide, so the little I or others can do is still much more than nothing.
